Axel nodded, and grabbed his bag. “Yeah… I guess you’re right. No use in staying, where they /will/ find us…” Axel quickly grabbed some clothes, his hair products, his necklace and his glasses.

Lola grabbed two different sets of clothing, her wallet, phone, and the necklace Axel had given her on their one year anniversary. By now she was a pro at bringing only the basics and leaving everything else go.

"The plan is to stay at my old house for a few days, have Cid bring all of these boxes over there when we leave, okay? We can figure out where we’re going once we leave Twilight Town."

The redhead grunted in response, unsure what to say. He looked away, and said: “No… I don’t know… Like I said… I’ll be fine…” Tears welled up in his eyes, as he thought back on the past four months. On the pain. On the sadness. On the anger and on the emptiness he felt after being tortured for…

Axel shrugged, and hid his face in his hands. “I don’t know… I don’t know what to do anymore… Lola.. I’m scared… What if he kills me? What if he kills /you/?! I won’t be able to handle that!” He started to sob again, unsure what to do with himself.

Lola pulled Axel closer to herself. “Axel, we can figure this out, okay?” She gently wiped away Axel’s tears with her sleeve. “We’ll move far away, some place Xemnas can’t find us.”

Axel flew himself around the girl, holding her tight, sighing deeply. “Where do you want to go? I ran from him for so many years, and he had always found me… How will this be different?” He whispered, negativity storming in his head.

"The difference is you have me, and I’m very good at hiding." She gently stroked his hair. "Remember before we started dating? No one could find me for two years."

The redhead nodded relucatantly. “Yeah… You’re right… Okay… But were should we go?” He got up and wiped his tears. “You have any idea of a place to go?”

"I was going back to my old apartment in Traverse Town. Maybe we could stay there for a week, gather our bearings, and find a better hiding spot?" Lola wrapped her arms Axel’s neck. She looked over at the boxes and sighed. "I don’t think we’ll be able to take our stuff with us.

Axel held the girl tight, burying his face in her long hair. “That’s a good plan. We can take our stuff to Traverse Town, ask Cid to keep an eye out for it, and when things are calmed down, we can go back…” He sighed, hiding the fact he was about to cry in her green locks. “Lola… I’m so sorry… I’m so sorry I left… I’m so sorry you have to run, have to hide again… I’m so sorry for ruining your life…”

Lola sat up and looked Axel directly in the eyes. “You did NOT ruin my life Axel. You have saved it many more times then I can count. Everyone has their faults and I’ll stick through your’s like you’ve stuck through mine.” She gently kissed him on the lips. “I love you.”

Axel still had tears running down his cheeks, not able to look into Lola’s eyes. “I guess… It just sucks we have to run again… And I have the feeling it’s all because of me… All because I turned away from the group I belonged to…”

Lola held Axel’s head between her hands. “You do NOT belong with them.” She gently wiped his tears away.

Axel shook his head, new tears forming where old were wiped off. “You don’t understand, Lola… Once you join the Organization, you can never turn your back… In the end, they’ll find me. And they /will/ kill me…” He whispered, looking up slightly to meet her gaze, pain and sadness in his eyes.

"I will not let you die," she whispered with such pain it was worse than if she screamed it. The thought of losing Axel…she couldn’t think about it. Couldn’t think about losing another person she let herself get close to. There was no way. "I will do whatever it takes to not let that happen. I promise."

Lola stood up and glanced around the room. “We can’t take everything. It will slow us down,” she glanced over at Axel, “We can’t stay here any longer. Let’s grab a few things and I’ll get someone to get the rest.”

Axel nodded, gulping hard to get rid of the lump in his throat. “Y-yeah… Thank you..” He then grabbed her face, making her looked at his pained features, as he whispered: “I am so glad I have you… We can get through this, love. I love you, Lola…” He then kissed her passionately, pouring all the love he had for her into that kiss.

Lola wrapped her arms around his neck. She kissed back putting all of her feelings from the past few months into it. Everything still hurt, but it felt better. Lola was willing to do anything to keep Axel safe. Just like he had done for her.

"Honey…we need to go. Let’s…let’s grab two backpacks, stuff just what we need inside them, and we can have someone come and get the rest."

Spontaneous (and probably bad ideas) Sentence Starters!
"Let's get married!"
"You know where we should go? Vegas."
"Run away with me."
"I'm feeling lucky. When's the next bus to Atlantic City?"
"I vote we get naked."
"Let's have kids."
"Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my number, so call me maybe."
"Take these sunglasses and fake mustache. Pop your collar and follow me. Ask questions later."
"Hey! Let's start a fight!"
"I'll buy the hotel room if you buy room service in the morning."
"Want to rob a bank?"
"I just picked up a book at the library about how to hot wire cars. Let's go joy riding!"
"Get in loser, we're going shopping."
